He's the publisher of The Dirty Locked Away History of the Democrat Party and a father of six kids who lives in Lima. Peru. In 1996 he had to flee Colombia where he was working as a correspondent for a media company when he was targeted for kidnapping and or assassination by the FARC guerrilla. He and his family moved to the United States where he's from. In 2005 he was widowed with 5 young children, got remarried to a Peruvian woman had a 5th boy and moved to Peru.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Stuart Ballantyne, besides being a columnist for The Spectator, is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. He has a long list of awards including the ICHCA Annual Award 1996, Sea trade Award 1997 (London), Cruise and Ferry Award 2003 (London), AUSMEPA Marine Environment Award 2006 (Sydney) and the Institute of Export – Export Hero of the Year 2008 (Australia). Stuart holds a Master of Philosophy (Naval Architecture) from Strathclyde University, Scotland, and was awarded an honorary doctorate in science from Strathclyde in 2014 for his services to the maritime Industry.
