Charlie Downes, Stephen Fenech & Sen. Hollie Hughes on The Dean Mackin Show - 08 June 2023
GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Charlie Downes is a political commentator and regular contributor to TalkTV, lotuseaters.com, and Wolves of Westminster. He's also an energetic proponent in the UK's traditionalist movement defining Traditionalism as a way of life and not merely a political worldview but a belief that duty, propriety, and standards are what make a man who he is. Traditionalists are driven by love of family, homeland, and history, and by a profound dissatisfaction with the plastic modern world. Charlie Downes is a ghost-writer, public speaker and a social media site manager. When not in the political arena, he hones himself in combat sports — particularly Brazilian jiu-jitsu. GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Stephen Fenech is the Editor of Tech Guide and one of Australia's most respected tech journalists. He is a regular on radio and TV talking about the latest tech news, products and trends.
GUEST 3 OVERVIEW: Hollie Hughes was elected to the Senate for New South Wales in 2019 following a successful career in communications, government affairs, consultancy and advocacy for rural and regional Australians. Now based in Sydney, Senator Hughes spent almost 20 years living in the country – mainly at Moree in north western NSW. As a mother of three she had a first-hand understanding of the drought’s devastating impacts on rural families and local economies against a backdrop of limited social and health services. In recent years Senator Hughes has also been a passionate advocate for autistic children and their families after her son was diagnosed in 2012.
