I came across the stat and thought it was interesting and thought you might find it interesting as well. In 2021, the Canadian household debt was much larger than the whole economy combined. Found that very interesting. 75% of it was mortgages. Now, does this surprise you? Or is this something you expected or did you think it was a lot worse or a lot better?
