Intro 

Marisa Donnelly, M.Ed., and Founder Donnelly’s Daily Apple — a tutoring and flexible learning company, website, educational resource platform, and collaborative network for teachers, students, home school programs, and parents. 

She is also the founder & CEO of Be A Light Collective, a virtual and San Diego-based writing/editing and content creation services business with an emphasis on individualized, relationship-focused coaching. She created these platforms because she is fiercely dedicated to building learning experiences and programs that are student-centered and continually growing to meet the needs of the ever-changing educational climate, especially for those who struggle to learn traditional settings. 

In 2020 (in the heart of the global health crisis), she launched a full-time 5-6th grade homeschool program to support her son and other students in the San Diego area. This inspired Marisa to build flexible learning opportunities, small-group/homeschool cohorts, and tutoring options in order to truly provide a comprehensive and effective education (both in-person and virtual) for EVERY learner.
