Retro Blood 88: Slugs

Welcome back to the Retro Bloods BUGs GONE WILD month. We continue the month of June with full reviews of Bugs in 1980s Horror movies. Up next if you like Killer Slugs and Health inspectors and toxic waste dumps this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “Slugs”. 

 Join James and J.A Alison as hook up with the town hottie and drink all her dad's whiskey and when she gets attack by killer toxic slugs we try to bolt out of there.  

We start off talking a bit about the movies before the main review. 

Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date February 5, 1988. 

In Pro Wrestling we talk a huge WWF show called “The Main Event” spin off from Saturday night's main event. With the Return Match of Hulk Hogan vr Andrea the Giant from WrestleMania 3. We talk the full card and how huge the rating this show did. We talk the angle of the show with a referee and plastic surgery and what this angle lead into.  

 In Metal we talk about Darkthorne and their ep “Land of Frost” Alison talks history of Darkthrone and this Ep. 

 Then we get in Who Book this Shit!! 

We talked about Director Juan Simon and some of the movies he produces including a Retro Blood Classic.   

We talked about the award this movie won for its Special Effects. 

We talk about the movies name in Spanish “Muerte Viscosa” 

We talk about the filming of the movie. 

Then we get into the full review with toxic waste land Slugs, Closing sales by any means. Horrible Halloween parties. Bob just wanting ass and Whisky. A goat killer? Bad planning and of course a cop who won't listen to the very end of the movie.
