In this episode, Patricia shares her experience as both a dispatcher and analyst on an island-based jurisdiction. Her badge story involves a burglary case committed by a known suspect where she quickly obtained buy-in and approval from both officers and leadership. Patricia also discusses the difference between working at a local police department and a fusion center (i.e., crime analysis vs intelligence analysis, quantitative vs qualitative). Patricia is currently a lead intelligence analyst at the Virgin Islands Fusion Center.
