The ICARE4Justice podcast highlights significant learning moments from the Global Summer Summit, which brought together a group of transnational critical scholar-practitioners to analyze, assess, and design important considerations for establishing a global strategy and framework for advancing equity for racially and ethnically minoritized communities in higher education. Our first episode this season, “Reflecting on Global Learning Spaces for Advancing Equity,'' is led by Dr. Saran Stewart alongside Dr. Frank Tuitt from the University of Connecticut (UConn). Together they lead a reflective conversation with Jessey Wendy Antwi, graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Program at UConn and Dr. Neema Begum, Assistant Professor of British Politics at the University of Nottingham. The discussion focuses on key takeaways from the summit, and how they plan to apply their knowledge to their daily practice.
