The Werewolf of Angarsk: Russian Serial Killer Mikhail Popkov

We are visiting a new country this week on Lucid Lab! Kendra takes you to Russia to investigate one of the most disturbing and prolific serial killers, Mikhail Popkov, otherwise known as The Werewolf of Angarsk. From 1992-2010, he roamed the streets of Siberia looking for women he deemed as unchaste and deserving of punishment. His form of punishment? Pain, suffering, sexual assault, dismemberment and death in the most brutal ways possible. 

 

This case will make you question many things such as who can you really trust? The scariest part of this whole story, Mikhail was a respected cop during the time he committed all of these murders!
