About Shana Spence
Shana is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in New York. She is an "all foods fit" dietitian. Life is already complicated, why restrict yourself unnecessarily? She creates a platform for open discussion on nutrition and wellness topics that are anti diet, Health at Every Size, non weight centric related, considering all the information circulating around these days. Was she always interested in nutrition? No. Not so long ago, she worked in the fashion industry and hated it. (The joke is: she got a B.S in Fashion Merchandising...get it?) She finally decided to make a change, go back to school and became involved in food policy and public health, where she currently works. In addition to this, she owns her business, The Nutrition Tea which provides consulting and counseling work. Speaking engagements include Peloton, NEDA, Eating Recovery Center, The Rose Retreats, FoodFluence 2022, and Eat Well Global.
