To honor the memory of William Friedkin we discuss his third masterpiece, SORCERER. Starring Roy Scheider and the jungles of South America. This masterclass in tension was sort of forgotten, because it came out at the same time of the original Star wars. It wasn't until many years later that it was "rediscovered" and given the praise it deserves.
Except for a few blips on the radar, this was Friedkins last big release beofre the 2000s and it feels appropriate to put a spotlight on this to really show what kind of filmmaker Friedkin really was. A master of the art.
