Healed by Jesus | The Calling of Matthew

As we move together through the season of Lent, we will be looking at some of the Gospel stories of miraculous healings by Jesus. Most of these healings had unexpected elements to them, beyond the physical healing itself. They help us understand what Jesus truly offers us and what He calls us to as we serve Him. And a central, over-arching element of these healing-miracle stories, is Jesus concern for the least, the hurting, the broken and the lost. Which is a concern that Jesus wants us, His followers, to share and act upon.
