In today’s episode, we welcome Selwyn Griffith to discuss the importance of performance management in the AFL, how a team adapts to the AFL draw, psychological stress, athlete nutrition, and career challenges.
Selwyn Griffith is the performance manager at the Melbourne Demons Football Club. He holds master’s degrees in Osteopathy and High-Performance Sports and is an accredited High-Performance Manager with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and a Level 3 Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
