On this episode Matt is joined by Matt Edwards, better known as Watashi. Watashi is a musician, songwriter, producer and DJ currently based in Austin, Texas. Inspired by his experiences growing up in Japan, his music features an array of Eastern textures as well as ethnic instruments from cultures across the globe. To Watashi, genres are only restraints on creative sonic expression - and composing uplifting, thought provoking music that pushes boundaries & resonates universally is the essence of his existence. After a profound mystical experience in 2021, the Watashi project was born with the mission of ‘creating spiritual experiences through sound.’
