Activist Ryan Dowling lost his life to Ryan Carson in New York City, and the political right jumped in with obvious political hypocrisy to use this tragedy to forward their false narrative about crime statistics in New York City.

At that time, murd*r rate in NYC was down 11% from last year, and overall crime was down 5%.

Facts and statistics show that the 25 "Red States" that voted for Donald Trump in the last Presidential Election have higher crime rates than the 25 "Blue States" that voted for President Joe Biden.
