159. Setting SMART Money and Clutter Goals for Christmas

Opening Bible verse: Psalm 20:2-6

How does Christmas morning typically go in your house? Are kids screaming with joy or disappointment? Are you looking at the mess of all these new items and now feeling the weight of having to find a place to store all of it?  As you pick up all the torn wrapping paper are you dreading the credit card bill arriving in January?  Do your kids even realize it's the birthday of our Savior?  Do you wish things could be different?  Do you wish there was less stuff, less debt and more Christ in Christmas?  Whatever your goals for Christmas, you can be SMART about it.  SMART is a corporate acronym that stands for: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

In today's episode we break down a hypothetical Christmas goal to demonstrate the use of implementing a SMART goal this season.  See if you too can set SMART goals for a debt free and clutter free Christmas this year.
