Ein Geschworenengericht in Kiew hat am 18. Oktober 2023 ein Urteil im Fall des sogenannten "Maidan-Massakers" vom 20. Februar 2014 gesprochen. Es hat zwar vier Polizisten zu hohen Freiheitsstrafen verurteilt, aber zugleich – gewollt oder ungewollt – mit dem bisherigen Narrativ eines befohlenen Blutbades an "friedlichen Demonstranten" aufgeräumt.
