Set in Middle-earth, it follows Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) and a diverse group, including Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen) and Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), on a perilous journey to destroy a powerful ring before it falls into the wrong hands, facing daunting challenges and forging deep bonds along the way.
