Episode 100 of Mike’s Search for Meaning is in the house!!!! I could not think of a more special way to celebrate this milestone than to invite my father back on as a return guest.

 

As a father to a 3 month old, fatherhood and parenting is very top of mind for me. This conversation focuses on how my father was raised, how I was raised, the ways I look at parenting my son, childhood pains and how they inform our parenting styles, masculinity…a lot of the things!

 

We attended a men’s retreat together in May - 6 months ago - that transformed our relationship, and so we discussed what that experience was like; being in the woods together, no cell phones, for 48 consecutive hours, working through our stuff together.
