Capital Irish - 03 December 2023

This week on Capital Irish, Alice Paul pays tribute to Peter McGuinness who passed away recently.  Peter and his wife, Susie are among our generous sponsors here on Capital Irish, and are also great supporters of numerous community groups and clubs, particularly within the Irish Community in Wellington.   Peter's legacy is also visible all around New Zealand in the form of the buildings and infrastructure constructed by LT McGuinness, the business set up by Peter's father and built up by Peter and his brothers.

Our sincere condolances to Susie and to all the family.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Also in our thoughts this week is former Capital Irish presenter Bernie Breslin who has been unwell.
