For the Christmas 2023 episode, the Spoop Bois are joined by returning guest Andrew Parker ("Ob(scene)" on Scare You To Sleep podcast) to discuss 1995's Spanish-Italian holiday comedy horror movie "El día de la bestia" ("The Day of the Beast") directed by Álex de la Iglesia. They get into Iglesia's filmography, subjects and themes throughout his movies, and the impact "The Day of the Beast" had on Spain's cinema and pop culture. They also talk about the open ended nature of the plot, the practicality of the film, how the backdrop of Christmas and real life landmarks are used, and many other aspects of the film.
