ESPN is once again caught in the middle of another controversy. Thursday afternoon...The Athletic published a report revealing a scheme devised by ESPN to defraud the Emmy Awards. Since 2010...ESPN has allegedly submitted fake names to the Emmy Awards to gain recognition for on-air talent.

We react to this report from The Athletic. We discuss the possible insecurities and egos at ESPN...for this scheme to be devised in the first place. We question why on-air talent at ESPN were seeking validation from the Emmys...and highlight the obvious flaws in ESPN scheme.
