Double Indemnity (1944) is, shall we say, "loosely based" on the real life murder of one Albert Snyder by his wife, Ruth, and her lover, Judd Gray. Join the Rebeccas as they take a deeper dive into what actually happened with the case, how Hollywood and the press distort it, and how all this relates to the to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act passed in 1974.
