RESTRICTED: Alberta's New Policies on Surgery, Sex Ed, & Sport

Alberta will prohibit hormonal treatment, puberty blockers, and gender affirming surgery for children under 16 as part of a series of policies announced by Premier Danielle Smith. Also included: Sex Ed curriculum must now be approved by the Education Minister, and parents will now opt their kids in (not out) of those classes. The policies also prohibit the participation of trans women in women's sports, though the enforceability of such measures is debatable.
