Episode 23: Dr. Ching-Wei Tzeng – HPB Education, Quality Improvement, and Preoperative Use of Y-90 in CRLM
Today’s episode features Dr. Ching-Wei Tzeng. Dr. Tzeng is a hepatobiliary surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at MD Anderson. Among many roles, he is the Department Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and Program Director for the HPB Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Tzeng is an accomplished researcher. His interests focus on multimodality therapy for GI Cancers and perioperative quality improvement, including cancer surgery standards, patient-centered opioid reduction protocols, and quality of life measures. Dr. Tzeng is a passionate surgical educator and has been widely recognized with numerous teaching awards.
