Critical Mass Business Talk Show: Ric Franzi Interviews Roohi Toosi, President of Apex Environmental & Water Resources (Episode 1480)

Mr. Roohi Toosi, PE is a passionate leader in the environmental and groundwater industry, who is bridging the gap between technology sector and traditional consulting services through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data automation tools.

Mr. Toosi established APEX Environmental & Water Resources to utilize his accumulated experience along with tech industry network to serve his clients more efficiently and cost-effectively.  He started his career by developing a computer program for designing excavation limits as a soil remediation technique, which led to his employment at Rubicon Engineering Corporation. His passion and capabilities empowered him to grow fast within the company and during a short time he transitioned from a part time engineer to vice president of Rubicon. After Rubicon and as A-Tech Consulting’s Director of Engineering he established a new department within the company to expand A-Tech’s service offerings.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Toosi has conducted and managed projects for utilities, school districts, municipalities, military bases, private developers, contractors, farmers, water districts, and large consulting firms.  His expertise encompasses all aspects of environmental engineering and hydrogeology, with emphasis on subsurface investigation and remediation, and application of AI in environmental and water management.

He is also a Board Director for California’s Groundwater Resources Association (GRA) and is organizing the 2024 Western Groundwater Conference in beautiful Lake Tahoe for October of this year.
