Working with the Unseen World with Perdita Finn

There are times in life we experience what our guest, Perdita Finn, calls a “narrowing” - when suddenly something happens and we have very limited options or directions to go in. One of those times for Perdita was when her daughter became seriously ill. She and her husband spent all their money going down a rabbit hole to help get her better, and then lost their jobs and nearly lost everything. “In those moments, you learn about prayer,” she shares. Perdita had been having profound spiritual experiences her whole life, but she had a difficult childhood with narcissistic, atheist parents so she was never allowed to fully embrace her gifts.

 

This episode features one of the most fascinating, jaw-dropping conversations we’ve had yet, where we tackle a topic we haven’t covered: getting to know the dead. “What if we could live in a world where the guidance of those who were gone was available, right at our fingertips?” That’s the question on the dust cover of “Take Back The Magic: Conversations with the Unseen World,” written by our guest, Perdita Finn.
