Welcome back to the BodPod! Today, we are thrilled to have Coach Carey take over the podcast with special guest Smash + Tess’ Ashley Freeborn. Raia (a.k.a Coach Carey) is a three-time certified life coach and motivational speaker. She’s passionate about encouraging others to tap into the confidence they never knew they had. After overcoming various hardships, she transformed her mindset and began a career that empowers others to do the same.

Ashley Freeborn is the CEO and founder of Smash + Tess, a brand that’s dedicated to creating “everywear” to take you from the sheets to the streets and disrupt the fashion industry with chic, cozy clothing. After finding a void in the lounge wear market, Ashely attended the summer fashion program at Condé Nast, and the rest is history. Having recently collaborated on the One For All romper, a genderless romper, we are so excited to have these pals together on our show.

In this episode, Ashley will talk about the origin story of Smash + Tess, what it’s like working with her mom, and how she brings a community aspect to her business. Besides this, Ashley will also share her advice for moving from an idea to an action when it comes to starting a business while opening up about a time in her life when she wasn’t as confident in herself.
