As someone who ran from their not so pleasant feelings for years, it was a messy process when I was learning how to feel them and listen to what they were telling me. Ultimately the more I leaned in and felt my feelings the more clearly I began to see myself. Learning to understand myself was the key I needed to better emotionally connect with others, hear my intuition, and make better decisions for myself.  Pretty cool, yah feel me?
