Una vez situados en el contexto histórico del Cantar de los Cantares, D. Carlos Granados García, doctor y profesor de Sagrada Escritura en la Universidad Eclesiástica San Dámaso (Madrid), continúa, en este segundo programa del bloque de «Un ancla en la tormenta» su «Explicación del Cantar de los Cantares». Y lo hace descubriéndonos el significado contenido en los versículos que componen el primer poema. En él se menciona, en primer lugar, al rey Salomón y a la amada, los cuales tienen en común la búsqueda del amor, pero de una forma desordenada. Aparece el coro, figura que representa la opinión del pueblo, cuyos consejos a veces serán positivos y otras veces negativos. E intervendrá también el amado intentando corresponder a la amada que le busca.
