Meet Konterri who is a first year DO/MPH student returning from a Leave of Absence (LOA) after having her second child. She had her first child before medical school and took on a nontraditional route to get to medical school. This included working in the mental health field during 6 gap years and getting a Master’s degree in medical physiology.
