مینی سریال فاندرهای ایرانی در سیلیکون ولی - امیر کاوسیان

در این مینی سریال که با همکاری پِر پرشین فاندر سیرکل از پِر وی-سی ایجاد شده است، ما با کارآفرینان ایرانی در ارتباط هستیم تا بینشی در مورد دامنه و تجربیات آنها در گروه اول آن بدست آوریم.

در این قسمت با امیر کاوسیان به گفت و گو نشستیم. امیر دوره کارشناسی خود را در رشته مهندسی عمران در دانشگاه "صنعتی شریف" به پایان رساند و سپس برای کارشناسی ارشد و دکترا به دانشگاه "استنفورد" رفت. او قبل از تأسیس یک شرکت امنیت سایبری که بعداً توسط  "کوین لیست" خریداری شد، کار خود را به عنوان "دیتا ساینتیست" آغاز کرد. امیر همچنین یک سرمایه گذار فعال در "بِی اِریا" است و در حال حاضر روی استارتاپ دوم خود کار می کند. ما دیدگاه‌های او را در مورد امنیت و هوش مصنوعی و همچنین فرآیند کسب مورد بحث قرار دادیم.

 

In this mini-series, created in collaboration with Pear Persian Founder Circle (PFC) from Pear VC, we engage with Persian entrepreneurs to gain insights into their domains and their experiences in Cohort 1 of the PFC.

In this episode, we had a conversation with Amir Kavousian. Amir completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at Sharif University, then proceeded to Stanford University for his Masters and PhD. He began his career as a data scientist before founding a cybersecurity company, which was later acquired by CoinList. Amir is also an active angel investor in the Bay Area and is currently working on his second venture. We discussed his perspectives on security and AI, as well as the acquisition process.
