KendyX talks Planet X, 2023 hiatus from music, & mental health "Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max"

Thank you to Chicago, IL and Long Beach, CA's own R&B singer KendyX for coming on my show for an interview! KendyX discussed her new single Planet X, why she took a hiatus from music in 2023, and returning to music with a refined approach to her artistry. She talked about growing up in Chicago, moving to Long Beach, and wanting to add elements of her being a gymnast in her music videos. She got into her influences of Avril Lavigne, what it's going to take to be a superstar artist like it was in the early 2000s, and her definition of self-love.
