ORIGINS: The Origin of Marriage

Why do so many marriages fail? Why do so many couples live out their relationship feeling unfulfilled and even unhappy. When God finished creating marriage on the sixth day, He said, "it is very good." If God said it is so great, why does it often not feel this way?

There is an answer and God spells it out in Genesis! There is hope for your marriage, if we go back to God's' plan!

 

Series description:

To understand life, we must understand where it all began. The question of, "Why are we here..." can be answered by, "Who made us." If we are here because of a cosmic accident, that means that we are part of a random accident that happened millions of years ago. But if we were created by a creator, then our life has purpose and meaning because we were planned and desired!

To understand life, we must understand our beginning! Origins will be an in-depth study of the first chapters of the Bible that explains the foundations and purpose for everything!

According to the Bible...

I. Marriage meets each other's needs

Basic needs we often neglect:

--- B. appreciation

--- C. affection

II. Marriage was created to be intimately connected

--- A. doing marriage God's way creates a deep connection

--- B. intimate connection requires a consistent effort to meet their needs

III. Marriage was created to be permanent (to have an unbreakable bond)
