We're skipping ahead a few episodes in our run of "Monticello Party Line". Although I'm missing a few episodes, you can still follow the story pretty easily since the story runs at a glacial pace.
Program 717 was originally heard November 22, 1938. Curly explains the ride he took in the 16 cylinder auto and the accident to his wife. The show, as usual, is sponsored by Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin and was written by Sandra Michael who would later gain fame for creating "Against the Storm".
This previously uncirculated show was digitized from an original Flexite transcription pressed by Columbia, matrix number 009. The side is dated in pencil on the label.
