Slovák Tomáš Diera napedáloval po Afrike 28 tisíc kilometrov. Jeho dobrodružná výprava začala v januári 2023, keď prišiel na bicykli do Maroka. Odtiaľ vyrazil do Juhoafrickej republiky po západnom pobreží kontinentu. Odhodlaný nasať atmosféru a esenciu každej krajiny, nehľadal na mapách najkratšie a najpohodlnejšie cesty, ale tie najzaujímavejšie. Vyviazol z nepríjemných stretnutí s levom, rozzúrenými slonmi aj lupičmi. Na ceste prekonal dažďový prales, púšte a silnú maláriu. Rozhodnutie prebicyklovať Afriku ale neľutuje.
