Sitting down with my new friend and brother-in-Christ Richard Matthews for a MUCH NEEDED conversation in todays social climate!

 

 

Richard is sharing the testimony of how he was raised in the church but not raised in Christ, so he strayed from the faith and began to find his identity in sexuality instead as a gay man suffering with addictions - until he had an encounter with Jesus that radically transformed his life.

 

 

We will talk about how Richard has gone viral since losing his job for talking about his faith, the backlash he has faced from the LGBTQIA+ community and his process of sanctification since coming to Christ -- as well as the root of perverse sexuality, wounds of false identity and the spiritual reality of this topic.

 

 

Finally, we'll talk about how it is the LOVE OF GOD that draws sinners to repentance, as Richard helps us understand how to best minister to this community that is truly in desparate suffering.
