4. Swords are used on enemies not friends.

• SM filled with such hate and anger- the church filled with rumors and backstabbing- we are supposed to be a peculiar people. Different from the patterns of this world.
• We often slash out with verses to make us righteous and condemn our loved ones in our own eyes.

As we read his Word, it renews our minds. As our minds are renewed, our thoughts change. This change in our thought patterns produces a change in our actions and connects us with Heavens' purposes for the earth. Our words should echo the will of our Father in heaven, and then we shall see the unseen become the seen. We lift our swords when we lift His word, which causes the battle to shift and darkness and the enemy to tremble.
