Foley Lumberjacks vs Kimball Express Class C State Tournament 2024

The Lumberjacks bowed out of the State Tournament with a heart-breaking 4-3 loss in 10 innings to the Express in Jordan.  Kimball got a 2-out 3-run double from Brooks Marquardt in the 2nd inning and that was holding up until the bottom of the 9th when Foley's Charles Hackett drilled a game-tying, 2-out 3-run Homer.  Kimball then used an error, a walk and an rbi single from Matt Friesen in the top of the 10th to win 4-3.
