As we talk about preparing ourselves to share the Gospel this week, we would be missing an opportunity if we didn't talk about one of the most important tools—the Word of God. In Hebrews, the author writes that "the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." When we do training in evangelism at EE, we always make it a point to memorize Scripture. Because it is powerful! It works in the hearts of those we share it with. So let me encourage you today—start hiding God's Word in your heart and begin to share it with others. Start with John 3:16 or Acts 16:31, which says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." You’ll see God take it and use it to change lives.
