HB 5920 and HB 5921, Banning Phones in Schools. Details of these bills, and his reasoning for why they are needed. ((A few schools in Michigan have already banned phones, and my understanding is it’s been a popular move – the number of discipline problems dropped significantly, and students are talking to each other more instead of constantly getting sucked into the phone.)) Safety concerns (such as if there was a school shooting), and how China uses TikTok to push garbage on kids here.
