From a young age, Booboo sensed he had lived many lives, yet growing up in Southern California amid gang culture, addiction, and trauma, he fell into the illusion of separateness. On November 14, 2009, following years of struggle with alcohol addiction, his identity dissolved in what he describes as a “glimpse of nirvana.” This experience awakened him to a deeper reality beyond his former self. With 15 years of sobriety, Booboo has since experienced out-of-body phenomena, a shared-death encounter with his father, and several spiritual awakenings. Now, as the host of the Broader Lens Podcast and an author in progress, he seeks to share his journey to inspire others toward healing and self-realization.
