Liberty Pole has been a prominent feature in discussions about alternative uses of peat due to their their peated rye and peated bourbon products, not to mention their homage to the classic Monongahela valley style of rye. Now, Liberty Pole is entering the American Single Malt space for the first time with a limited run of an American Single Malt Whiskey, and possibly more products to come in the future. We first saw the American Single Malt label via ComingWhiskey and reached out to Jim for an interview when he was ready to speak about this product. Today, we'll taste through this new ASMW product and discuss the rest of Liberty Pole's Portfolio, especially their ryes, as well as their use of peat in non-malt products.
