Have you ever dreaded an upcoming medical procedure or faced a traumatic situation, where fear paralyzed you? You are not alone. Anxiety pounded my heart, as I prepped to have my first chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. Restless and unable to sleep, I trekked out in the middle of the night before the procedure to the lake near my house. The wind whipped over the hills, white caps churning, like the fear churning my soul. I cried out, desperate to connect with God, tears spilling down my face. 1. Presence

3. Prayer

    -Jesus prays for us: John 17: 9, 11 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours… Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 

   -Holy Spirit Intercedes for us, when we don’t know how to pray Romans 8:26,27

 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Steps for Healing with the Prince of Peace:

1. Come to Him with Anxiety and Fear. Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
2. Allow him to minister to You. He is your peace. Philippians 4:7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
3. Trust Him, to help you and calm you through storms and trauma of Life.
