Highlighted was the OSF Scholarships initiative, designed to support aspiring healthcare professionals. Additionally, they introduced the innovative Swing Bed program, a fresh alternative to traditional nursing homes. This program offers patients a specialized environment for rehabilitative and occupational therapies, allowing a more personalized recovery process. OSF Saint Luke introduces their MSPS unit, comprising medical, surgical, pediatrics, and swing bed services, designed with patient comfort in mind. Each of the 19 private rooms is equipped with spacious facilities, including a sofa bed for loved ones. The swing bed service allows patients to transition smoothly from acute care without moving rooms, offering therapies needed for recovery. Coordinated care is ensured by a dedicated hospitalist working closely with the admitting physician. Nursing staff, available 24/7, provide comprehensive support.
