In this homily, I reflect on the story of Jonah and his journey to repentance. I discuss Jonah's initial fear and reluctance to follow God's call, the surprising and swift repentance of Nineveh, and how Jesus connected His own ministry to the story of Jonah. I also explore the importance of recognizing our own sinfulness and turning back to God, emphasizing the joy and redemption that come from understanding our need for a savior. Let's embrace this Lenten journey with a spirit of repentance and a deeper awareness of our own sins.
