General Hospital sees Drew Quartermaine's (Cameron Mathison) vengeful antics may prove fatal for Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). The ongoing conflict between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Monica has intensified, with Tracy expressing deep concern about Monica's frail health amid the drama. The scandal involving Drew's illicit affair with Michae Corinthos' (Chad Duell) wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), coupled with Michael's near-death experience, has put added stress on Monica.

GH sees Drew's ruthless actions, spurred on by his lawyer Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), include a court order to relocate the family crypt, causing further distress. As Monica's demise looms, due to the real-life passing of actress Leslie Charlson, the storyline suggests that Drew's relentless pursuit of revenge may lead to her untimely end.
