VO Burnout: Is It a Thing?

What happens when you have been in VO so long, you get tired of seeing the same script/copy time and time again? In the commercial genre, sometimes the words we are tasked with reading become tired and cliche'. So, it becomes a challenge to muster something inside you to help make those words believable.

In this episode of the Making Wavs VO Podcast, we have a CANDID conversation with VO veteran Jeff Bell. Jeff has been a mainstay voice for FORD over the years, among many other successful projects. He's read a lot of commercials over the years and we talk about feeling a sense of "burnout" with some genres and what we can do as voice actors to overcome that and keep grinding.
