In a dark, post-apocalyptic future, Earth is ruled by vampires and plagued by monsters. A young woman named Doris Lang is attacked by the ancient vampire Count Magnus Lee. Desperate and doomed to become his bride, she hires a mysterious, half-human, half-vampire bounty hunter named D, who wields a mystical sword and a sarcastic, talking symbiotic hand. As the battle for survival unfolds, secrets from D’s past are slowly revealed, and the line between monster and man is tested.
