Chances are that you grew up with one foot in Hundred Acre Wood along with Christopher Robin, and partly because your parents got as much out of A.A. Milne’s stories as you did. There is something deeper than stuffed bears obsessed with honey there. These quirky, whimsical and sometimes troubled characters that populate the world of Pooh help us grasp some of the most simple and basic pieces of life. Maybe Pooh’s statement, “It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?"” is really very like Jesus’, “Come to me all you who are tired and carrying heavy burdens and I will give you rest.”
