News Dissector - A New Direction - 03/06/14

News Dissector Radio will be taking a new direction with a focus on media issues, analysis, criticism and debate, featuring issues carried on Mediachannel.org.

In the first show with this new focus, we will be joined  at 5 by  Professor Mathew Cecil, of the Elliot School of Communications at Wichita State University, Mathew has a brilliant new book out called “Hoover’s FBI and the Fourth Estate: The Campaign to Control The Press and The Bureau’s Image.

n the second segment at 5:30l  we will speak with Bob Holman, a poet who also runs the Bowery Poetry Café.  Bob is doing a play commenting on the latest news from the Ukraine at Le Mama. Its called Captain John Smith Goes to the Ukraine
